The house (bungalow) is walking distance from the picturesque village of Yarmouth and the Yarmouth ferry. 1 km from the beach, and Fort Victoria country Park. Linstone cottage is the perfect hide away and ideal starting point for beautiful walks over beaches, through fields and forrest.
Linstone cottage is homecoming for us and a dream come true. We fell in love with the quiet surroundings and proximity to what we love: beach, nature, Yarmouth, Railwayline, Yarmouth Woods, Freshwater Bay, walking, cycling, sailing. As regular visitors and island lovers (Gary is a born islander, Caren an island loving Dutch native) we are pleased to share this with you and welcome you to our holiday home on the stunning Isle of Wight.

You can sit at the dining table, or cuddle up in the comfy 4-seater and armchairs while reading a book or watching TV.
In the conservatory you can enjoy the view of the garden and rest after a nice long walk.
South facing garden gives sun from morning till evening. The shade of the pergola will keep you cool. Please note garden does contain an open fish pond so take care with small children.
Kitchen with: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction cooker, coffee machine, water boiler, toaster. In the pantry you will find a washing machine and dryer.
From Linstone you can easily walk to Yarmouth and take the route to Freshwater / Freshwater Bay over the Railwayline path, or you take the route over the fields, through the forrest nature trail and along the beach at Fort Victoria. In the house you can find information on various walks.
In Yarmouth you'll find different restaurants, pubs and a small grocery store. In Freshwater (3 km) is a supermarket. In the house we will leave you some tips of good food on the island.
The Island is hosting a wide arrangement of Events from the famous Isle of Wight festival, Around the island race, Cowes week, Garlic festival and many more. Keep an eye on https://www.isleofwight.com/isle-of-wight-events/
A bus stop within 2 min from the house will bring you to the ferry terminal and Yarmouth main busstation (15 minutes walk), from where you can travel to other parts of the island such as Newport, Shanklin, Bembridge, Cowes. Or you can take the bus into the other direction to visit the south part of the island (The Needles, Freshwater Bay, Tennyson monument).
